Guidelines for Guest Articles for 21st Century Woman

Thank you for your interest in writing a guest post for 21st Century Woman.

Articles and videos should contain useful information for women that is clearly explained and actionable. Written articles must be unique and should not be reproduced anywhere else on the web including your own blog – if applicable (neither party benefits from duplicate content). It is okay to link to your own blog if it is relevant to do so. You should not actively encourage visitors to visit your blog. No affiliate codes or referral links are allowed in articles.

We reserve the right to edit any post that is submitted us. Generally, we don’t heavily edit any of our guest posts, but there is a possibility that we will change the title, rewrite the beginning or ending and correct grammar and spelling.

You shouldn’t be offended by this happening to one of your post. We want your guest post to be successful and understand what works best with our audience. If your post needs more than basic editing and we think it would ultimately provide value to our audience, we may send it back to you for edits or additional information.

Please note that we have very strict guidelines regarding quality, grammar and spelling. The rules are in place to ensure that the integrity of the site remains high.

We are constantly sent guest post, and we’re often times not able to use everything that’s submitted. There are many reasons why we might decline to post your article: quality, relevance to our audience, its duplicate content that’s already been posted somewhere else on the internet, or because we’ve already written several posts on that topic already. We want our guest post to present new ideas and fresh perspectives on the 21st Century Woman. We like to provide information to our readers that hasn’t been seen anywhere else online.

Post Length

We don’t require that guest post meet specific length requirements. Your post must be long enough to clearly convey your message. We write posts that vary in length; but generally write long detailed posts that are at least 500 words or more. Length isn’t necessarily a major factor with your guest post, but the quality of the content most certainly is.

We believe that every post should contain a relevant image. Feel free to provide an image to accompany your posts. If you submit an image, please be sure that the image is available for commercial reuse. You must send us a link to the original image location online. If the image is not available for commercial reuse, it will not be posted on 21st Century Woman.
